Easyjet eases the way for business travel bookings

Easyjet has signed an agreement with eNett to offer a virtual card solution for bookings made by business travel management companies.
Agents that have agreements with eNett will be able to make bookings in this way either through the easyJet website or the GDS.
“This solution will make things easier for TMCs,” said Jerry Dunn, Distribution Development Manager for easyJet.
The virtual card will be a Mastercard and carry the same fee structure as any Mastercard.
“Our booking fees will remain exactly the same,” said Dunn, “but there will be other benefits for those that use the system.”
Dunn continued, “We want to make the booking process as easy as possible and to resolve any reconciliation issues that they [TMCs] might have today. This is an alternative payment system and we will be providing full details very soon.”
Agents interested in using the virtual card must have an agreement with eNett.
UK travel management companies that use the eNett system include Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
eNett is a joint venture between Travelport and PSP International.
EasyJet will be issuing full details of the scheme shortly.
