Finnair system-wide traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs), rose 11.6% to 2,076.4 million RPKs in March. Capacity, measured in available seat kilometres, grew by 3.6% to 2,661.8 million ASKs.

Passenger load factor improved by 5.6 percentage points to 78% and passenger numbers increased 11.6% to 771,800 in March.

Good development in both Asian and European traffic drove the increases. The strongest growth in March was seen in European traffic, which increased by 26.3% from that in March 2011.
