Gilles has spent his entire career with American Express and most recently had led the company’s drive for SME corporate clients in the UK, Sweden and Norway.

Ray joined Rezidor in 2002 as Assistant Bar Manager at the Park Inn Northampton and was promoted to Front Office Manager at that property four years later. In late 2008, Ray joined the Park Inn Peterborough as Operations Manager and was appointed Acting General Manager in mid 2011.

She was most recently executive director, sales and account management, for GlobalStar. Prior to the GlobalStar appointment, she worked for HRG for 15 years.

Jenny succeeds Alison Smith who is now CWT Senior Director Business Development, EMEA.

In his role as vice president of global sales and customer care, Weiner will lead the company’s worldwide sales efforts.

Weiner joined Choice in 2006, having been vice president of sales and customer care for Travelocity. He had previously worked for 16 years in a variety of roles with Sabre Holdings and AMR, the parent company of American Airlines.

Rydin has worked for Radisson Blu owner Rezidor since 2000. He was most recently General Manager of the Radisson Blu, Dubai Downtown.

Dubaere, a 22-year veteran of Accor, has been Managing Director Budget Brands Accor UK & Ireland since 2010.

Thomas Dubaere said, “I am looking forward to continuing Accor’s ambitious expansion plan to increase our UK presence to 300 hotels by 2015.”

The appointment is effective immediately.

Armstrong, head of UK sales at the travel management company, will now also be responsible for developing and managing its multinational client base.

“This is an exciting opportunity and I’m looking forward to be taking more of a hands-on role in the future development of FCm’s global sales capabilities and direction,” he said.

Armstrong will be based at FCm’s regional head office in London.

The appointment is effective from 1 February.

She is currently Senior Vice President of International Sales and Marketing and has held a variety of roles in the car rental company since she started her car rental career with Budget Rent a Car in 1997.

The appointment is effective 1 March.
